Laboratory of Natural Products Based Chemical Biology
We are targeting structurally and biologically novel natural products from microbes based on
analysis of chemical profiles, cheminformatics and deep-molecular networking system.
Furthermore, we are investigating symbiotic interaction between hosts and microbes chemically,
providing deep-insights into understanding role of microbes and new strategies for drug development.

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography is main facility for isolation and purifiaction of microbial natural products. Our lab is now installed Gilson HPLC. Iit is time to dive into the natural product's world!!

National Research Foundation of Korea will support our team research titled "Development of novel microbiome-derived materials and production platform for metabolic disease control". Our lab will perform the analysis of novel metabolites from gut microbes and establishment of molecular database platform!!

Agilent 1260 infinity ll LC-MS system eqquiped with fraction collector has been set up in our laboratory! Our lab is now possible to analyze and purify various type of novel natural products and gut metabolites!
